Paper floral art
A sustainable alternative
Alexia is a sustainable floral art artisan. With a multidisciplinary creative background atthe crossroads of design, communication, andapplied arts, she spent ten years working as afashion stylist in ready-to-wear and six years asan art director in a start-up before choosing toreturn to the world of craft and artistic creation.
She is part of the broader “Slow Design” movement, which promotes a more mindfulform of consumption that values time, craftsmanship and the preservation of naturalresources. She works with paper and natural dried or mineral materials to createpoetic and sustainable floral compositions and installations. Inspired by the plantworld and the earthy palette of Southern France, her work celebrates the richdiversity of landscapes between sea and mountains.A poetic tribute to the fragile beauty of living things and to suspended time.
Creative Process
In her studio located in the South of France, she brings to life unique and lastingpaper floral compositions. She hand-dyes all her papers using ochres from Provenceand Italy. She works exclusively with natural materials: linen threads, spices, seeds, and dried foliage sourced from the Var and the Loire regions. All elements comefrom short supply chains. Each flower is patiently handcrafted, greeneries are carefully dried and preserved inthe studio, and the wood is engraved on-site — offering a poetic and eco-consciousalternative to traditional floral arrangements.
Sustainable creations for every occasion
Because some flowers deserve to last, her paper creations bring a poetic and eco-conscious touch to a wide range of occasions.Client gifts, events, interior decoration, spatial design, large-scale installations — orsimply for the joy of giving — each piece is handmade with love and designed tostand the test of time without fading.
